As we start a new year, I thought I’d share my final stages of my last project from last year.
During December I made my Advent Calendar, it’s not completely finished as I have a couple of MDF doors which have been, err, misplaced… I am sure they will turn up after the decorations come down.
I left the doors simple, they have a thin layer of EasyStructure which I covered in peaks and painted with pearl white pigment. I did the same on the trees and snow on the back of the box too.
The scene on the back and sides is made from corregated card, MDF shapes and more EasyStructure.
I coloured them with a mixture of acrylic inks and sprays and Powertex pigments. There are still the missing deer and stag to be added.
The trees have baubles added with pearlised drops. There is still more colour and detail to add which I will do through 2020 and I will share it again next year year.
