The May Secret Art Box arrived nice and early this month. Ready to see what is in it?

If you are new to the Secret Art Box, it’s a monthly kit from Powertex UK, packed with goodies to help you get creative.

This month we have a nautical theme based around a beautiful polystyrene fish. Although Powertex doesn’t stick to most plastics, it loves polystyrene.

Along side the fish there is the usual selection of Powertex goodies, including a bottle of black Powertex,  Easy Coat (Matt), pigments and a small varnish. There are also 3D balls, perfect for adding texture.

In addition, you can see a bag and bottle full of treasure, perfect for adding last minute bling to your projects.  This month’s TerraGreen pigment zings on black Powertex with a deep iridescent sheen, perfect for fish scales.

There are some great nautical papers which will work well with the EasyCoat and themed MDF, perfect for a range of projects.
