Celebrating the start of Spring with a fun little bird project.

I love the start of spring with the longer nights, soft colours and the increase of birds and flowers. Today we are celebrating birds.

This wooden bird was in January’s Secret Art Box. I have used warm links and golds but with spring birds, butterflies and lace for a spring feel.

I’ve used a mixture of MDF shapes (toadstools, hearts, butterflies and birds), metal shapes (flower for eyes and a butterfly) and lace both as the wing and folded to create feet and give the bird stability.

Your #powertex projects don’t need to be big or complex and you can use whatever you have to hand.
