This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. In the 6th December’s box we saw sample boxes of three of the new colours that Powertex UK are about to launch. I have since seen them in person and they will be worth the wait. So what exciting goods will be behind Box No 7?

Today we got sample boxes of small, medium and large 3D stones and sand from Powertex. These are a must have embellishment for all Powertex Addicts

3D stones come in the three sizes included in today’s box as well as a fine sand. There are a neutral colour and can be mixed with any colour Powertex. To use them mix a small amount of the stones into Powertex and then spread them over the project. Start with the larger stones and then mix in the medium and smaller stones and sand.

I also mix the small stones and sand into EasyStructure to produce a textured paste which as you can see from this photo gives another layer of texture and dimension. I also add some sand into the Rusty Powder to give additional texture to the finished product.
