Our Summer Art Work Series is finishing with another recycled DVD plaque.

Recycled DVDs can be coloured with all shades of Powertex,  today I am using ivory as the perfect base for Powertex Acrylic inks.

I wanted to do something with a seaside theme, so I used Stone Art shapes and the small 3D stones.

Once dried, I sprayed the plaque with yellow, blue and aqua acrylic ink sprays. These mix as the dry which gives a deeper green.

Once dried, I dry brushed the shells with ivory Powertex to give a base for pearl pigments.

I brushed the surface with EasyVarnish to set the colours.
