This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely bottle of Bronze Powertex and Brown Bister and I can’t wait for today’s treat

Today we have another staple of Powertex and something I can’t live without. EasyVarnish – the Powertex varnish which can be used to weatherproof all your projects. Mix it with pigments to add a pop of colour and dry brush your projects. Or use it coat Transparent Powertex or projects coloured with inks and paints to seal the project

It is hard to put onto words how integral EasyVarnish is to creating with Powertex, it prolongs the life of your art work and helps preserve the colours so they don’t fade as quickly and is the perfect binder for dry brushing when using your pigments. The project I have chosen to showcase EasyVarnish demonstrates how it can pull out the details of a project when you mix it with pigments. All the colour have been added by mixing Pigments with EasyVarnish.

If you have every taken one of our classes you will recognise these little bottles, you don’t need much and it lasts a long time. It is the perfect way to finish your projects.
