This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. In Box 10 we had a length of cotton lace, one of the most useful fabrics I use with Powertex. So what do we have today?

The box was almost big enough for Houston the Elf to have a sleep in so it was going to be a goodie – and it is, a bottle of Bronze Powertex and Brown Bister. Bronze Powertex is one of the most useful colours as it warm but neutral and looks great with metallic pigments.

Bronze is a great colour to start with as I don’t think its not as stark as black and when you are using light fabrics it is easy to see where you have missed parts. If you are using white and ivory Powertex with light fabrics you may easily miss bits that aren’t completely covered in Powertex

This is a sneak of a new project which is coming as a class in 2024, it is made with Bronze Powertex and finished with golds and pearl pigments. You can also see the details in the hair made from Powercotton.
