This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. Day 10 bought us PowerCotton, 100% cotton strands which keep their individual shape when covered in Powertex, making it perfect for hair and fur as well as general embellishments. So what will Day 11 bring us?

Today we have a beautiful length of cotton lace and a wooden heart embellishment. Lace is a staple of Powertex projects as there is already a lot of details in the lace and it can be gathered or used in strips. As this is 100% cotton it takes the Powertex very well and keeps its shape despite the holes.

One of the ways that I use it is to make bows on my wreaths, you can use scrunched up cling film to help the bow loops to keep their shape whilst drying.

Powertex and Cotton Lace is the perfect partnership.
