This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. On Day 8, I was taken back to my early days of playing with Powertex with a Plaster of Paris Embellishment. Box 9 is a biggie so what’s in the box?

I said yesterday that I still bought some Plaster of Paris embellishments and this is an example of what I still buy – Figurine Heads. This one is new to me and she is called Sarah.

Figurine Heads allow you to create beautiful figures with detailed faces without needing to be top notch sculpture whilst still allowing you to personalise your piece of art to suit your style. They work well with fabric sculpture but we offer classes with 3D flex and stone art figurines too.

There are a wide range of faces available from different nationalities and heritages as well as Male, Female and Children. All Powertex UK Tutors have their favourites and mine is Grace featured below as I love the details in her face and fair. I can’t wait to see what I can do with Sarah.
