Blue Tuesday – A Celebration of Powertex in Blue 2016 – Day 2

One of my favourite colours from the Secret Art Loft Pigment Collection is the Bright Blue that is Blue Curacao.

This is Gilbert the Dragon, made around a beer bottle and is one of our popular classes (check out our class page for more details).

Gilbert is coloured in Crystal Palace blue and red, and is named after a friend of ours who passed way suddenly when I was making him.

His main colour is Blue Curacao which was perfect for him.

All the Secret Art Loft Pigments blend well together so you use them with colours that are analogous to them on the colour wheel to add depth and variety to projects without colours clashing and looking jarring.

Analogue Colours are those which are next to the colour you are using. For Blues, the Analogue Colours are Greens and Purples. Not all greens and purples will go with every blue but they are a good place to start looking if you are feeling overwhelmed

What’s your favourite Powertex Blue Pigment?
