This week, I’m celebrating all things blue within Powertex UK.

Blue Monday is the name that is given to the 3rd Monday in January when people feel at their lowest, still over a week to pay day, credit cards are hitting and its been grey and Foggy here in Bristol.

But there is a lot to love about Blue, it’s on of my favourite colours, I love crisp bright blues and soft baby blues and to share some positivity around blue, I’m sharing some of my favourite Powertex Blues.

I’m starting with Blue Powertex. Its a bright “in your face” blue which is brilliant on its own but works well with white and ivory to create a sky base.

By keeping it subtle with lots of white and ivory in this owl piece, I have tried to capture a spring morning

In this piece, I also mixed in a small bit of Lead Grey to add depth to this skyscape to add drama. There is also blue and black Liquid Power but we will look at that later in the week…

Like all colours of Powertex,  you can mix and blend them in to create a base.
