Powertex UK – Traditional Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 16, 17 and 18

One of the things I’m looking forward to about this weekend is actually creating on time. I’ve really enjoyed when I’ve had time to create, just wish I had more.

And because I’m behind… again… I’ve forgotten to take time set up shots. [Memo altogether Houston and self – take all the set up shots at the outset next year].

First off, on December 16th, we had a firm favourite from Secret At Loft – Green Parrot. Its a bright, vivid Teal which works well with Blues and golds.

On Black Powertex,  the pearl, blue undertones come through and it goes well with the Santa Boots from earlier.

On Ivory Powertex,  The teal and Blue tones really zing. I’ve paired it here with Limoncello Gold.

Moving onto December 17th, we have a beautiful soft warm blue, which I love. Its an exclusive Secret Art Loft Pigment called  Winter Sky.

This is my favourite pigment to date. Its such a fresh Christmas Frost colour,  especially on black Powertex.

On Ivory, its just beautiful. I wanted to keep it light so I used the sheen from the Elf Dust pigment we got a couple of days ago.

Our final colour from this week is another limited edition, this time its a matt called Peppermint Cream.

On the Black Powertex, its paired it with Celestial Frost, it feels like a frosted lawn

Looking at this photo, it looks like on the Ivory side that there are yellow undertones but it is a cool green and not a warm one.  There is silver on this, as I wanted to play up the cooler tones.

We’ve had some brilliant pigments in this calendar
