Christmas is round the corner, Houston is loving everything thing about this calendar and can’t wait to see what the last few days bring. So let’s get on with it.

It’s another big heavy box, and Houston thinks its a great bed sized box so he can’t wait to dive in. We’ve got Powerwax fron Powertex Intl, a medium which brings another way to add colour.

I don’t use PowerWax as much as I use Easy Varnish or EasyCoat to add colour but I’m learning.

I use it most to add colour to canvas where I want control.  I used it here to add the pink before dry brushing the gold.

I am going to add PowerWax to my “to explore in 2026” list
