Houston is busy with making sure that I’m all finished with the day job so I can relax and focus on the run up to Christmas.

It’s meant I’ve been a little behind on opening the doors, but Houston is making sure I can catch up and here’s a recap of the last few days.

So first off on Day 16 we had some that I love, Stockinette. A 100% cotton material which is packed with texture, a slightly different texture on each side due to the way the stitching lays.

Fabric Sculpture remains one of the most amazing properties of Powertex and its at its best when you play with different fabrics.

Secondly on the 17th we moved back to colouring, a different type of colouring material which we haven’t seen in this calendar yet, The Secret Art Loft Semi Body Paint. This is the bright green Key Lime .

These paints blend perfectly with each other, add depth to projects, especially mixed media canvases, and the semi translucence property allows the layers below it to shine through.

Not quite Gold, not quite Green Festive Foliage is a perfect Christmas Colour and I can’t wait to play with it.
