As we finish week 2 of our 2025 Traditional Advent Calendar, let’s see what Pigment we have today…

Today is the one colour that I have to replace the most after Titanium White. Its Colortricx Silver

I use it a lot to bring out details on cool colours including blue based colours as well as black. We have a range of golds but only one silver.

Whilst it really pops on Black Powertex,  its lost a little on Ivory. I think if I was doing this again, I would mix a little Black Magic to give a gunmetal colour as a base and then add the silver on top or if you want a dull gun metal, mix in some grey pigment.

The beauty of Powertex is if you don’t like a colour, you can paint over it and start again.  I’ll share this again tomorrow adter I’ve had a play.
