Over the last 10 days, we’ve had an incredible range of Powertex Pigments, Colours and Textures. So what does day 11 bring us?

Today we had a very pale gold, exclusive to Powertex UK – Elf Dust.

When compared with the Rich Gold from yesterday’s Delux Advent Calendar and Snow White from a few days ago, you can see how pale it is whilst still packing a punch.

If you are not sure what hue of a colour to use, put a few samples side by side so you can compare. Elf Dust has hints of Spring, compared to the autumn warmth of Rich Gold.

For the number side, I coloured the whole straight on the Black without knocking it back with the white. I decided to colour the numbers in Rich Gold and dry brushed a small amount on the balls round the edge.

The Ivory side is just painted with the Elf Dust and it builds up quickly and is just so sparkly. This side is just a few coats of Elf Dust but the light picks up the peaks and troughs.
