Houston breathes a huge sigh of relief as he’s finally caught up. Having a beautiful range of golds in the Delux Advent Calendar,  he’s hoping for something that goes…

And Houston is not disappointed, its another exclusive pigment, this time a rich brown called Yule Log from Secret Art Loft’s matt pigment range.

These are deep, earthy, warm rich colours which are, in the words of Masterchef, are unctious.

Here are some of the browns from Powertex Range, you have Amber Flame in the top left (moving clockwise), Mocha (my personal favourite), Dark Brown, Red Oche, Ploughed Earth and Burnt Sienna in the centre.

Yule Log is very different from the others and has a very woody undertone. And it goes very well with Rich Gold from the Delux Advent Calendar.

This is what the the Yule Log and Rich Gold Look like on Ivory, it allows the warmth to shine through.

On the black, it’s more muted but feels like an earthenware jug and Yule Log was made to go with Rich Gold
