Houston is really enjoying this year’s Calendar, we’ve already had a wide range of Powertex Goodies. Powertex UK have outdone themselves again.

Today Houston found he has a heavy box which sounds like maracas 🪇 when he shakes it.

A brand new product, Houston likes to be treated to exclusives. Its called Craft Sand, which looks to have more texture that the 3D Dust or Fine Sand or Coarse Sand, the existing sands from Powertex UK.

So why may you need more than one Sand? What can you do with it

3D dust or Fine Sand are great to thicken Powertex and turn it into tiny paste as well as giving structure to your 3D balls mix.

You can add any of the sands into EasyStructure or Secret Art Pastes to add more depth as you can see on this plaque

You can also add it rust powder to add additional texture to your projects.

Or you can just use them in seascapes to represent, well, sand or rock faces

By having a range of textures in sand you can increase the flexibility of your existing products and add even more texture.
