After a beautiful rich exclusive colour yesterday, Houston is excited to we what get today, so let’s get going…

We’ve another exclusive colour, this time called Santa Boots, a deep black packed with Sparkle.

When compared with the other Powertex UK Blacks, it sits between Black Magic (less Sparkle than Santa’s Boots) and Moonshine (slightly lighter than Santa Boots)

Black is great for slightly darker a colour (black + pigments = shades, white + pigment = tints). Or, when you are working with black powertex to correct minor colouring mistakes.

For Today’s bauble, I wanted to showcase the sparkle.

I haven’t added too much detail on the Black Powertex side, I have painted the disc in the pigment and then picked up the edge with a light coat of Interference Silver. The light makes it sparkle.

On the Ivory Side, I painted the whole disc and then added a mixture of white and Celestial Frost to gradually lighten Santa’s Boots without loosing the sparkle to pick up the texture.

I love this colour it just zings.
