Something new for 2025, each day we are going to showcasing the pigment of the day from the 2025 Powertex Traditional Advent Calendar.

Please excuse our photography for the first day, I’m just working out how to showcase the Pigments. So what do we have behind day one?

We have a beautiful rich exclusive pigment called Mulberry Shimmer

It’s everything you want from a colour called Mulbeery, a deep rich redish brown which is packed with shimmer. This is perfect for projects where you want a rustic traditional colours and would look perfect with colours such as Shadow Verdant or Enchanted Ivy. Copper helps it pop.

It looks great on Ivory Powertex and is such a deep colour.

I used more Copper and Rich Gold on the Black Side of the Ornament which makes texture really pop and gives it some warmth as it’s quite a cool deep colour which can come over as cool.
