Powertex UK @ The NEC 2025 – Looking back

Well what a weekend,  it’s taken me a week to fully recover. If you had told me that I would spend 4 days at a Craft Show and not really look round or buy anything,  I would have laughed at you… but I did.

I did do a tiny bit if shopping for Portberry Crafts, including some Block stamps and rollers for Clay work.

Well where to start?

The stall was busy and eclectic and chaotic and calm all at the same time. There was a buzz around it and we drew people in.

The team gelled together, worked together built each other up and looked after each other. We inspired each other and grew as Artists, Tutors and friends.

We had time to create, to share ideas, to work and our skills and have a laugh. I haven’t spent this much time, just playing and creating in years.

The Powertex Pathway Artwork blew everyone away, the work was out of this world.

But most of all we put Powertex back on the creative map with a bang and despite the tiredness, the long days, the noise and being away from home all week, I would do it all again tomorrow.

I’m fizzing with ideas for 2026

So what will create in 2026?
