Welcome to our Advent Calendar Countdown for 2024, What has Houston got in store today?

Houston has really been looking forward to this box, partly because it’s SO big and partly because it means his job is almost over for another year.

It’s been worth the wait, we have a 500g bottle of a Portberry Crafts favourite, Lead Powetex and an Angel Head made from Plaster of Paris.

I think Lead is a very underrated Powertex  colour. I especially love the pastel effect you get when using the iridescent colours on top of Lead, as you can see with this example of our Plaque Class.

With all our Mixed Media Plaque Classes, we offer a range of Powertex colours, including Lead, so you can play with the different pigments and see how they react with different base colours.
