The advantage of the Bister Granules over the ready-made spray is that you can do everything you can do with the Spray and more.

In our Star Burst Canvas, I mix a small amount of Brown Granules into Transparent Powertex to colour the middle of the Star as well as sprinkle a few into the wet Blue, Grey and Ivory Powertex to add depth before spritzing it with Liquid Bister

If you want to produce a weatherproof project, you can mix in Powderfix to create a permanent version or paint a thin layer of Varnish over the top.
