We have a bag of Stockinette from Powertex. I love Stockinette, it’s very versatile.

If you are using Powertex as a fabric harder, you should be using a cotton fabric with at least 80% natural fibre.

Stockinette meets this definition, and because of the way the cotton is woven, it’s very loose, flexible, and stretchy.

This is Gilbert the Dragon, a class we offer as part of our Beer Bottle Animal Classes. The details on the tummy and spikes on the tail are made from Stockinette

Stockinette cuts really well. It frays slightly around the edges and can stretch and be moulded around 3D shapes,making it perfect for adding embellishments and texture to models.
