Houston is pleased it’s a smaller box for him to lift as he was up late celebrating this year’s Strictly winners… and he’s feeling a bit delicate this afternoon

And even more new products, this time a beautiful range of glitter in pinks and blues.

Last time we had glitter, I shared the sort of 3D projects that I would the glitter on and today I’m sharing a canvas.

This has lots of the elements which we have already found in the Advent Calendar including LiquidPower, Bister, Rice Papers and Glass Pebbles.

I would use the glitter to compliment where I have used silver gilding foil. I use glitter and gilding foils in the same, pat on a very thin layer of transparent Powertex onto the project at the end, and then gently pat in the foil or glitter into the Powertex. Once it is dry, I would rub off the excess.

With all products like glitter, gilding foil and metallic or pearl pigments you want to use them as the final layer to bring out the sparkle unless you are going for a faded glory or patina look, then you want to add more.
