Another brand new product, the new Metallic Wax Cream in the shade of Copper.

I’m fairly new to using water-based waxes but I am looking forward to using the ready made cream, especially as it’s such a rich colour.

When I talk to my fellow Powertex Tutors about Powerwax, the word I keep hearing the word “control”.

What Powerwax and the new wax creams allow you to do is layer up pigments in a very controlled manner, targeting small areas a lot easier than dry brushing. For example, the image above is a 1 inch sample from a canvas that is coloured with wax.

Water Bases waxes gives you another dimension to using your pigments and I’m looking forward to exploring them further.
