Box 6 is very appropriate for today, it’s almost the same dark grey shade as the sky is here in Bristol as we settle in and wait Storm Darragh to pass.

We’ve got a Sample Size of Pixie Pebbles. These are in the newly expanded range of 3D Sands and Balls which I mentioned earlier in the week. Although Houston thinks they should be renamed Elf Stones in his honour.

These new stones greatly increase the range of texture that you can achieve, as they are coarser than what’s been available in the past.

To use the stones, start with the biggest size first. Mix them in a small amount of Powertex until they are covered. If like me, you use Take Away containers to hold the Powertex,whilst you are working, then the lid is perfect for this.

Once covered, spread the mix onto your project and repeat with the next size down and so on. Don’t be tempted to play with it too much or you may wipe all the Powertex off.
