This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies. Yesterday brought us a full sized Tub of Silver Pigment, so useful to accent any project, so what will we get today? It is an interesting sized box.

And we have not one but two gifts, firstly a small bottle of Red Powertex and a sample of Ready Made Yellow Bister. Looks of rich colours perfect for Christmas

I have referred to Red Powertex as the glitter of the Powertex world, as I find it gets everywhere however careful you are. But when it is dries you get a deep rich red, which also makes a lovely deep russet orange when added to yellow Powertex or pink when added to white Powertex.

Yellow Bister is a deep warm yellow, not bright. It lifts any background on which is sprayed and works well when sprayed with either green, brown or even mahogany. It is not a colour Bister that I used much so I am challenging myself to use it next time. I recommend that Yellow Bister is used on lighter colour Powertex, especially Ivory.
