This year Powertex UK launched its first Luxury Advent Calendar, packed with 24 days of goodies (and yes I have been good and I have not opened any of the boxes). Yesterday I had a lovely full sized Pot of PowerPearl, so what will Houston the Elft bring me today?

It’s a random pot of treasure (which was wrapped in black tissue paper) so really 3 presents in one, tissue paper to add texture, a pot to decorate and treasure to add details.

So what is Treasure? It is the name we give to all the tiny little goodies that you can add to projects which add details and focal points. It can include metal embellishments, MDF and wooden shapes, glass and paper flowers which are useful for so many projects.

If you look at any of the plaques I make you will small details like keys, cogs, metal flowers or MDF shapes, these are often from Powertex Treasure Pots. And if you come to my classes you will have possibly rummaged through my Large Treasure pot which has so many different hidden goodies in them, that sometimes I forget.

So if you are looking for a quick and easy way to add to your embellishment collections, Powertex Treasure pots are the way to go.
