At Portberry Crafts we are keen to be as green as we can be, we recycle where possible and minimise our use of single use plastics. Our Fairy Houses are the perfect introduction to Powertex and use recycled jars, material and packing materials to create a fun little project.

Made from recycled jars (could be jam, or coffee or pickled onions – all well washed!) we will teach you the basics of modelling with Paper and Kitchen Foil and how to sculpt with a range of fabrics.

This class introduces you to Powertex and we will provide you with the Jar, the Fairy Door (which we make ourselves behind the scenes), a range of fabrics to sculpt your house and then the embellishments to personalise it just as you want to.

This class is perfect if you have never used Powertex before and want to see how it will work with a range of different natural fabrics as well as MDF and Plaster of Paris, all the building blocks you need to take your Powertex Journey to the next step.

All you need to do is bring your imagination to create a unique piece of artwork for your home or garden
