Powertex Unleashed – Terragreen Chameleon Pigment

Join us in our new weekly blog post where we look at the weekly Powertex Unleashed live – this week it’s Terragreen Chameleon Pigment Powder

If you don’t all ready know, each Thursday, Michele from Powertex UK looks at a different Powertex product over on The Powertex Studio Facebook group. This week, it’s a favourite of Powertex Tutors which has been missing from Powertex UK for a couple of years, the colortricx pigment powder – Terragreen, now called Terragreen Chameleon.

It is slightly different from the original shade but add a touch of Clear Gold colortricx pigment powder into the Terragreen and you get the original, a pigment which shimmers, has depth and changes in the light.

Terragreen chameleon is a chameleon pigment powder which means it looks different depending on the base you use, it can look golden in some lights and green in others, making it perfect to use with white, ivory, bronze, black and green Powertex colours and will give you a different result every time.

With my geisha girl, I have used it on black, white and green Powertex as well as on top of brown bister. On black it looks metallic green, on green it adds a golden flex and on white it gives a golden green sheen. It makes amazing marine projects, especially fish as it really looks like scales.
